Adobe has just launched its Photoshop Touch app for iOS and Android smartphones, bringing a host of professional photo editing tools right to the palm of your hand.
Like the tablet version, which has been out for nearly a year, Photoshop Touch for phone boasts the array of popular Photoshop features from the much-loved desktop application used by photographers and designers worldwide.
Among these are layers, selection tools, adjustments and filters, as well as the ability to combine images and apply numerous professional and painting effects such as strokes, shadows and fades to a particular layer or a select area.
There’s also a Camera Fill feature that lets you fill an area on a layer and a Refine Edge tool to capture more difficult image elements like hair.
Better still, with a free membership to Adobe Creative Cloud, which automatically syncs projects between devices, you can start something on your smartphone and finish it on a tablet or on Photoshop for desktop.
Photoshop Touch for pocket is available to download right now for £2.99. To grab the iPhone version, head over to the App Store. For Android, visit Google Play.
