Earlier this year, Yahoo announced a complete redesign of Fickr with additional sharing functionality, full res images and most notably, 1TB of photo storage. Now the company has released an update for its Flickr app that allows users to make better use of the free storage capacity.
Today's iOS 7 update enables the application to auto upload photos directly from the iPhone's camera roll to Flickr. It appears as though the images getting auto uploaded are set to private by default until you decide to share them. Yahoo is also bringing auto straighten, which automatically corrects photos, but you can also make further adjustments using the Flickr editor before uploading them.Although there are several other apps, like Dropbox and Google+, that will allow you to auto upload photos in a similar fashion, avid Flickr users should find these additions useful.Previously, some users were having trouble signing-in to Google with the app, but according to Yahoo those issues have been resolved with the update and that it is "making sure it doesn't happen again."
